♡ Hello Future Brides ♡
Welcome again to my Beauty Blog! I hope you are having a wonderful time planning your wedding and to make your life easier I have gathered one of the most popular Bridal Makeup Pictures from Pinterest.
Why Pinterest? Well…there is no surprise that most brides use Pinterest when it comes to planning their wedding because they can get some pretty amazing inspiration and DIY projects. Normally, I always ask my brides if they have any pictures with the type of makeup they dream about on their wedding day and 9 times of out 10 I get send the same pictures and yes, they are all from Pinterest.
So without further ado here are the TOP 5 Bridal Makeup Looks I have gathered from Pinterest.
P.S underneath every picture you have some tips and makeup techniques that will help you achieve these looks!
1.The Romantic Plum eyes
This romantic look goes amazing with brides that have a lighter hair colour! The focus is on the eyelashes, therefore I would recommend choosing only human hair or mink eyelashes because they can give you them most natural look. Try to avoid using any eyelashes that have plastic in them because they are not going to be comfortable throughout the day and they are hard to work with. My favourite eyelashes to use for this look are the Red Cherry Eyelashes in #43 because they are affordable ( 4$) and give beautiful length and fullness to your natural eyelashes. Like most bridal makeup looks the eyeshadow is very well blended and clean. I would recommend using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette from Sephora. because it has the perfect pink and purple shades to recreate this look.
2. Very Natural Bride
Now this makeup look is very classy for any natural bride. The eyeshadow is kept in the range of nudes and warm browns. The overall look is matte however you can always add some shimmer in the middle of the upper lid to give some dimension to this eye look. The eyeliner starts thin from the inner corner of the eyes and gets just a little bit more thicker towards the outer corner to create a soft cat flick. The falsies are optional or you can always use individual eyelashes to add thickness. The Urban Decay Naked Basic Eyeshadow Palette has all the eyeshadow colours perfect for this look so don’t forget check if our at Sephora whenever you get a break for all that wedding planning.
3. Highlighted cheeks
This bridal makeup look is one of my personal favourite for brides that decide to get married during the Summer. There is nothing more enchanting than walking down the isle whilst the Summer makeup rays hit your perfectly sculpted peach cheeks. You future husband will surely see you like a goddess! The product I always have in my makeup kit for this look is The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal which is a the perfect golden cream highlighter with peach undertones. It’s impossible to go wrong with this magical highlighting cream! From my experience, the best way to apply this products is with a synthetic stippling brush on top of your cheekbones before applying your blush. Use warm earthy tones for your eyeshadow to bring out your beautiful tan.
4. Hollywood Glam Bride
We are talking about big diamond jewelry, red lips and shimmery golden eyes. The perfect Glamorous Old Hollywood makeup will make you feel and look like a true superstar. There are not many brides that are daring enough to chose this makeup for their big day but I enjoy recreating it whenever I get the chance. Using waterproof makeup products is crucial because everything has to stay in place and look flawless even at the end of the day so that the bride can have beautiful wedding pictures. The lips are the hardest to keep pigmented throughout the day, therefore if I know that my bride will want a red lip for her wedding, then I always give her the lipstick I used as a wedding favour. A makeup tip for long lasting lipstick is to always apply lip liner all over your lips. Also, it’s recommended to apply more layers of the red lip, however wait for the lipstick to dry in between applications. Use a lip brush for precision application. Some of my favourite red lipsticks are The Too Faced Liquid Lipstick in blood red, YSL Glossy Stain in Rouge Gouache and The Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Majella
5. Smokey Eyes
Most people consider dark smokey eyes only for nights out but some brides prefer choosing this look for their wedding day. The bridal smokey eye for a bride is still more softer than your usual all black eyeshadow. I tend a play a lot with different shades of grey and silver whenever I am asked to do a bridal smokey eye. Depth is really important for this type of look, however it doesn’t mean that you only have to wear black eyeshadow. Look for eyeshadows that are easy to blend and don’t have a lot of fallout. I would recommend using Shadow Shields to keep your under eye area clean or apply your foundation and concealer at the end. Always pair this eyeshadow look with nude or glossy lips to avoid a heavy makeup look. Some of my favourites eyeshadows are from Urban Decay and if used with a good primer like the Too Faced Shadow Insurance then you have nothing to worry about. Your eyeshadow will be bulletproof!
